NetQoS Hires Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy

Austin, Texas March 20, 2007 -- NetQoS® Inc. (www.netqos.com) has hired Gordon Daugherty to fill the newly created position of vice president of corporate development and strategy. In this role, he will lead the company’s strategic planning processes and oversee corporate development initiatives such as market expansion opportunities, investments, and acquisitions.

“NetQoS has been the fastest growing company in the network performance management space for several years, and as the company evolves, Gordon has the right combination of experience and knowledge to help us strengthen our position as the leader in this industry,” said Joel Trammell, NetQoS CEO. “For example, Gordon is helping us analyze the European market to package our network performance management products and services in new ways that will further our growth there.”

“NetQoS is a great success story, and I look forward to using my experience and skills to help the company continue to grow, whether that means opening up new markets, planning for additional products and services, or analyzing acquisition opportunities,” said Daugherty.

Prior to joining NetQoS, Daugherty served as chief marketing officer for Britestream Networks, a provider of network security solutions, and president of the Americas for VCON, an Israeli-based supplier of videoconferencing technology.

Since starting his career at IBM, Daugherty has held middle management and executive-level positions in a variety of functional disciplines, including sales, marketing, product management, and business development. While at Compaq, he led the North American product marketing efforts for the $1.4 billion networking, software and server options segment. At VCON, Daugherty grew Americas revenue 340 percent in three years, enabling the company to reach $36 million and execute a successful IPO along the way.

Daugherty has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Baylor University and is founder and principal of Shockwave Innovations, a marketing and strategy consulting firm.
